Introduction

The latest and best in airport equipment and services will be on show at inter airport India 2007 in New Delhi. Exhibitors from 16 countries will present a diversity of products that range from airfield lighting to aircraft refuelling systems and from ground support equipment to crash fire tenders. Also featured will be cargo handling equipment, runway maintenance systems, hangar equipment and boarding bridges. Landside products on show will include baggage handling systems and flight information display systems. Many other products and services will also be presented.

Exhibitors at this first inter airport show in India include a large contingent of companies from Germany, coming to New Delhi as members of the German Airport Technology & Equipment (GATE) group, and a presence by UK suppliers co-ordinated by the British Airport Services and Equipment Association (BASEA). Together with companies from as far away as Europe and North America, plus leading suppliers from India, they will present many of the products and systems needed to assist the rapid expansion of the subcontinent’s air transport infrastructure.

India’s new exhibition for the dynamic airports market is being staged by Mack Brooks Exhibitions, working in partnership with Inter Ads Pte Ltd. Long established as a major Mack Brooks event taking place every two years in Germany, inter airport is widely recognised as the world’s principal showcase for the latest in airport technology. inter airport has also been staged in Asia – most recently in September 2006, when a highly successful show was held in Beijing, China.
