Facts & Figures
Review 2007
With 25,000 square metres net tightly packed with the latest airport technology, inter airport Europe 2007 was the biggest ever in the long history of the show. 603 exhibitors from 30 countries showcased the full range of airport products and services. More than 13,000 airport professionals from 128 countries attended the event, creating a lively business atmosphere throughout the show grounds.
The overall exhibition space had been substantially enlarged to make room for more exhibitors and larger stands, resulting in an impressive variety of exhibits on display. New systems to fast-track passenger and baggage handling were of particular interest, a consequence of the steadily increasing passenger numbers and stricter security regulations at airports in general. Further exhibition highlights included real-life presentations of powerful vehicles and large-scale Airbus A380 equipment in the Outdoor Area.
Exhibitors and visitors alike praised the high technical level and outstanding quality of the event. Surveys showed that an absolute majority were highly satisfied with the results of the exhibition, with a stunning 98% of exhibitors stating that they have achieved their aims. It comes as no surprise that the majority of all participants look forward to returning in 2009.
