ELS awarded BHS and PBB O&M contract at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport

Daifuku Elite Line Services (ELS) has announced its selection by the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Metropolitan Airports Commission to provide operation and maintenance (O&M) support for the in-line baggage handling system (BHS) and passenger boarding bridges (PBB) located at the multi-airline Humphrey Terminal (T2) of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), MN. The five-year contract includes comprehensive maintenance responsibility for the Daifuku Logan BHS which features 4,586 ft of conveyor, four claim units, 64 power turns, and seven high-speed diverters, as well as operational support for the system’s control room monitoring. Additionally, ELS will maintain the terminal’s 15 passenger boarding bridges which include pre-conditioned air units and 400 Hz ground power units.
