Qognify (formerly NICE Security) has been selected by Oslo Airport in Norway to install its security surveillance solution as part of an expansion project in Terminal 2 (T2). The installation will help the airport to ensure operational efficiency, business continuity, passenger safety and security. Oslo Airport is anticipating annual passenger numbers to rise from 24 million to 28 million in the next few years, and the Qognify solution will help to effectively manage all types of incidents, including operational bottlenecks, safety hazards and security threats. Qognify is also working with system integrator Racom to implement a scalable IP surveillance solution at the new terminal. Moti Shabtai, president of Qognify, said: “The pillars of our security portfolio, NiceVision, can help major transit operations like Oslo Airport streamline all aspects of incident-handling and response throughout the entire incident lifecycle.”
