Stockholm-based company Lifts All Airport Handling Solutions has been awarded an order for 40 Container Loading Systems (CLS) to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands. Using the CLS, bags are moved from a moving carousel onto a roller deck table and then easily pushed off into the baggage container. The company said that the CLS was “fast, easy and instinctive to use and it’s a product that has been developed based on the baggage handlers’ ideas and wishes.” According to the company, the system was initially developed together with baggage handlers at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Heathrow and Schiphol have also played an important part in the later development. “We have made a long-term investment in the airport market despite the difficult economic climate and we're seeing a great return on our investment,” said Svante Wibom, CEO at Lifts All Airport Handling Solutions.
