ADELTE sells aircraft boarding equipment to Pakistan

Barcelona, Spain-based ADELTE has signed a contract with the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) to improve boarding operations at Jinnah International Airport. The contract comprises the design, manufacture and installation of 18 new electromechanical glass-sided Apron Drive passenger boarding bridges (PBB) alongside 12 new walkways and 30 rooftops, also designed and manufactured by ADELTE. The 12 existing PBBs, meanwhile, will be dismantled and disposed of. ADELTE’s Apron Drive PBBs are custom-made, allowing for a variety of docking heights, and include adjustable handling and lifting mechanisms, providing safety and comfort for passengers. The contract between ADELTE and the PCAA also includes the delivery of 12 innovative ZEPHIR (45T and 90T) pre-conditioned air units from its GSE range.
