Air India SATS Airport Services invests $9 million in new GSE at Delhi Airport

Air India SATS Airport Services (AISATS) has invested a further USD 9 million in new ground support equipment (GSE) at Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI). In a statement, the company said: “This investment is part of the USD 13.5 million invested in GSE by AISATS in the past one year,” adding: “The GSE deployed will not only enhance service delivery standards but also improve operational efficiency and compliance with local airport regulations.” AISATS said that it currently handles around 50% of the daily scheduled flights at IGI airport. “To ensure seamless services and improved faster turnaround time without compromising safety, AISATS has deployed a whole range of newly-acquired motorised and non-motorised handling equipment,” the company said.
