Vestergaard to supply 10 BETA NG de-icer trucks for UA in Newark

Dorval, QC-based Aéro Mag 2000 has been contracted by Vestergaard to supply 10 BETA NG de-icer units for the United Airlines operation in Newark, NJ. The new BETA NG units will be equipped with the new 14-m boom option and will assist Aéro Mag 2000 and United Operations in increasing efficiency during winter operations. Future units are planned for delivery to complete the replacement of the out of date deicing units. Mario Lépine, President of Aéro Mag 2000, said: “Vestergaard and Aéro Mag 2000 offer solutions of very high quality and reliability with proven performance. We were chosen on this basis over several other manufacturers and service providers as the best short- and long-term solution to fit the deicing needs of the new United Airlines Newark operation.” Aéro Mag 2000 was Vestergaard’ s first deicing service provider to launch the of BETA, MY and GAMMA product lines throughout Canada and the U.S. and was the first North American deicing service provider to launch the BETA NG 14 meter telescopic boom, Data Transfer System (DTS) and other technologies.
